Italian Cooking Classes in Piedmont

Market Day

Our Piedmont Cooking Classes are Taught in English (Italian is also possible)

Our "hands on" cooking sessions are planned around your interests and skill level, showcasing seasonal local Piemontese cuisine. We feature creative classic specialties of Piedmont, striking a balance between traditional and modernity with our own flair. We select seasonal ingredients, preparing them simply, as is the Italian way.

Our cooking style and philosophy embraces seasonality, locality and freshness. We make an effort to use ingredients that you will be able to find back home. We also will use produce from our organic garden when in season. You will savor food bursting with flavor and marvel at just how divine simple food can be. We will send you home with new skills and recipes for everything that we have cooked together.

Our intimate cooking sessions accommodate from 2 to 8 people.

Our most popular “Market Day” sessions take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays,  with a guided visit to Pinerolo's typical Italian market that has been a tradition here for over 1,000 years. This class includes a guided tour of the market with sampling and taking in some of the highlights of Pinerolo’s historic center, free time for you till we cook together later in the afternoon for our evening meal. We will make every effort to customize the class around your food preferences and skill level. Give us an idea of your interests and we'll work with you to make a memorable meal while having fun.

We offer "Cooking Together" sessions for other days aside from the Wednesday and Saturdays, which will start in the late afternoon, so that you are free to enjoy the many charms our area has to offer. We will need to decide your menu before you arrive so we can arrange a menu and be prepared for your class. We like to know what you have in mind to learn to cook and food preferences so we can tailor the meal to your interests and skill level. We start the sessions around 16:30 (4:30pm) in the afternoon and dine together at 20:00 (8pm) We will pair local wine to what we are preparing for a full Piemontese dinner. Please let us know what you have in mind to guide us in our menu planning.

We will guide you through the selection, preparation, and cooking. We'll dine together on the fruits of our labor paired with local wines from our “Strada Reale dei Vini Torinesi” association.

All of our culinary and educational offerings are brought to you through our eco-sustainable tourism association (T.E.M.) in order to offer you the opportunity to sample local cuisine and wines of Piedmont as well as helping to make a positive impact in our valley. Sustainable Mountain Tourism (T.E.M.)
